The picture above and the next two is of the modified that I wasn't able to get completed to race this year as I stopped working on it and restored an old supermodified, which you will see on this page.
As you can see I am using an IMCA modified chassis by cutting and removing the frame rail on the right hand side.
The body is a 35 Ford hump back sedan which I didn't have a lot of. I usually build my cars from the ground up but I am trying to get a good car count as soon as I can. This car is a way for new members to put a car together without spending a lot of money on building a new chassis.
NEXT PROJECT WAS THIS OLD SUPERMODIFIED
This is an old race car a friend of mine found a few years ago, and I finally was able to purchase this car for my collection.
The picture on the left was the first time I took it back to the track. The picture on the right is after I finished painting the car. I am not sure yet who all raced this car so I painted it up to remember one of KC's finest race car drivers, who is Charlie Kraft and his car was always known as the cheese colored #4. I do know that Charlie had something to do with this car as it has some parts on it that was associated with him. Charlie had and drove a lot of cars through the years, so we can't be sure about this one. In the picture on the left is my good friend, Jim Penney, who also drove cars similiar to this one, he is alot of help to me finding these cars and helping at the track.
More pictures to come as I am getting ready to start and finish more projects this winter.
