Mickey liked the long original hood instead of the short cutoffs that most of these old cars had in the early days, so we cut down the sides and did extensive work to the front nose and bumper to keep the front end in proportion with each other. We think it came out looking real nice.
Even though we had a dead line to get this car finished for the Wheels of Thunder car show, we still had a fun time building this car. I only wish I could say it is mine but at least we have one more good car for our club, thanks to Mickey for allowing me to help with this project. We would like for anyone wanting to build a new car to always ask before you do something that may not pass SMVR inspesction.
