John Dole's project
These pictures were sent to me from John Doles. He is from Farris Texas and this is a 1934 Plymouth that was one of his dads  old original race cars.  His dad raced this car in the 50's. They picked it up thanksgiving weekend 2001 after about 30 years sitting under a tree in Oklahoma. His dad drove this car to high school and dated his mother in it. She even drove it herself before his dad turned it into a race car.
John is in the process of picking up parts and restoring this car. I hope he can send us some progress pictures in the future. I would just like to say thanks and good luck to John and that this is really a neat car and story about his parents. John also sent me a original picture of the car but for some reason I am having trouble getting it to come up on my computer. Also check for this car on my found treasures page soon.

The picture above shows some of Johns progress and it looks like he's coming along quite well. He has the car running and driveable.

The picture above shows full view of the right side. John is looking for some older looking tires for this car. If anyone can help let us know.

The picture above shows the motor with the two carbs and John says it sounds just great. He is saving the paint for last but so far the car is looking great and he says he has taken it to some tracks already to show  and everyone likes his car and I can certainly see why. Keep up the good work, Jhon you are almost there.
More pictures coming soon.
