UPDATED 9-8-03
Since I have been away from my modeling projects for awhile, I am back to building and finishing some of my projects. The next four cars will be finished soon, I hope, as I am building a new paint booth for my models and this should help to speed up the progress.
The picture above is the cut down sedan I started some time back. It is 1/16 scale. I now have the body smoothed out and preparing it for paint.
The four pictures above are of an early modified. Some cars built like this were called peashooters. They were built mostly out of pickup truck cabs. This car I am building out of a 37 Ford pickup kit. The frame and cage have been scratch built from roundstock plastruck tubing. I may resin cast this body so if anyone is interested let me know. The two pictures above are of another old jalopy racer. This time I am useing a 1936 five window Ford coupe from a Dick Tracy kit. I like to use this kit on several of my cars as it has the old wide five wheels.

Above is  a 1955 Chevy stock car I plan for this car to look like it has been raced for a couple of seasons. Be patient and I will finish these projects as soon as time allows.
