Here is a 1931 Chevy coupe that a friend of mine from St. Joseph MO. has just bought and is going to build a new vintage race car to race with the S.M.V.R. club. His name is Roy Crist. I, for one, certainly think that this will make a really neat race car. I plan to help and encourage Roy with his new project as much as I can and I am sure he will keep us updated with pictures and progress in the near future.
As I am sure everyone will agree when I say, Roy is building one nice old vintage racer. It looks like he is going to have this car ready to race real soon. It will be good to see the finished pictures and I am sure Roy is anxious to get his car on the track. I will be adding more pictures as I recieve them.
These last two pictures were added after Roy had finished his race car and raced with our SMVR club several times. As you can see Roy has done a great job building this car and we are glad to have him racing with our club. Now Roy's brother, Joe Crist, is building a sedan also.
